When we started I picked the most ambiguous name possible so people wouldn’t know if it’s just me doing this or 5 people, they wouldn’t be able to tell if it’s my first month or 5th year. It’s all about perception and I just wanted business owners to give me a chance, rather than the established brands. So I picked a name that could pass as an established marketing agency that I’m just “interning” for. 5 years later it worked and I don’t need to do that anymore, I could change the name, but now I kind of like it. It used to bother me how bland it is and I told myself I’d change it as soon as we got to that point. Now that I read about the oak tree and the acorn I realized it was the perfect name from the start, it was meant for us. It starts off small and grows into the biggest and oldest tree in the Forest?? Are you kidding me? That’s GOLD.”
